TROWBRIDGE TWP., MI (WKZO-AM/FM) – A 23-year-old man lost his life when he was struck on Sunday night, Aug. 13, 2023, by a SUV south of Allegan.
According to County Sheriff’s Sergeant Bernard Austhof, the vehicle was southbound on 26th Street shortly before 10 PM, approaching 108th Avenue, when the unnamed man was spotted in the roadway and was struck. The unnamed pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while Austhof didn’t mention if the driver was hurt, or if there were any passengers in the vehicle at the time who may or may not have been injured.
No other details of the incident were disclosed as the matter remains under investigation.
