PORTAGE (WKZO) — Portage City Manager Larry Shaffer will ask his Public Safety Chief to investigate McDonald’s Wrecking to make sure they have been charging the rates they agreed with the city to charge to in their contract.
It comes in the wake of allegations from many of the victims of the pile-up on I-94 that the Tow Truck firm was charging folks 250-dollars to get their cars back.
Manager Shaffer says he hasn’t heard any complaints from their residents, but the County has. Portage’s contract with McDonalds will be up for renewal this March.
