MUSKEGON (WKZO) — A marriage in Muskegon County has come to an abrupt and bloody end.
Authorities say 35-year-old John Patrick Mahoney and his wife, Renee Kelsey-Mahoney were having a domestic dispute Saturday morning at their home in the 400 block of Isabella Avenue when he was stabbed in the chest.
He was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.
She is being held in the Muskegon County Jail pending formal charges.
