PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) -Beginning Monday, December 27 through Thursday, December 30, daily lane closures will take place on Portage Road for construction activities involving the I-94 bridge over Portage Road.
City officials say the closures will be from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., weather dependent.
The lane closures will begin at the east leg of Kilgore Road (formerly known as Kilgore Service Road) and end at the west leg of Kilgore Road.
The closures are part of the Michigan Department of Transportation I-94
interchange improvements at Portage Road.
Motorists are advised to be alert for
construction activities and may wish to seek an alternate route to avoid delays.
