NEWTON TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — The Marshall half-brothers who died after crashing their pickup into a tree in Calhoun County’s Newton Township have been identified as 23-year-old Carl Burlington and 26-year-old Olaf Boes.
Michigan State Police say slick pavement, speed and alcohol sent their vehicle off the road.
A newspaper delivery person discovered the wreck on Oak Grove Road south of J Drive South, calling 911 after 4 a.m. Thursday.
