DOWAGIAC (WKZO-AM) — The Gun Lake tribe isn’t the only group with Casino expansion plans.
The Pokagon Pottawatomi will add more parking and 70 more slot machines to their satellite casino in Dowagiac this summer. Four Winds Chief Operating Officer Frank Freedman saidthey want to be able to accommodate everyone on high-volume days, like the weekends and when they have special promotions.
Right now, he said he can watch as people circle the parking lot looking for parking spots.
Freedman said they will be open during construction, which will begin next month. The expansion should be done by August.
It will add 10 to 15 new jobs to their current staff of 150.
