KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Police in Kalamazoo Township say two of three suspects are jailed and a handgun stolen from the city of Kalamazoo has been recovered after a vehicle pursuit and foot chase.
A report of a man with a gun prompted officers to the 1500 block of Olmstead Avenue at around 1 a.m. Friday. When they arrived at the scene, they spotted an SUV fleeing the area at a high rate of speed.
After officers gave chase, the three men abandoned the vehicle in the Pavilion Acres trailer park and ran.
Two of the suspects were caught. A third remains at large.
All three men are in their early 20s and are from Kalamazoo, but have not been formally identified.
