KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Financial information firm CoreLogic says home prices in Kalamazoo and Portage increased another 3.6 percent in April compared to figures from 2015.
The mark is about 0.6 percent higher compared to numbers from March.
Statewide, prices are up 5.2 percent, which lags the national average of 6.2 percent.
Washington and Oregon saw home prices increase over 10 percent, leading the nation. Connecticut saw the only home price decline, losing 0.5 percent.
Nationally, the company estimates home prices to be 5.3 percent higher by next April.
