KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Sen. Bernie Sanders has endorsed Paul Clements, D-Kalamazoo, in his second bid to unseat incumbent Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, but it may be worth more in dollars and cents than politically after last night’s primaries.
An email blast from the Sanders campaign for another candidate resulted in a $600,000 dollars in internet donations.
It comes as the Sanders campaign is reportedly planning to trim staff after a poorer-than-expected showing in California. Losses in other states pushed Hilary Clinton over the top in pledged delegates Tuesday night.
