UNDATED (WKZO-AM) — Pride Kalamazoo Kicked off lFriday and will continue through today and into the evening with a number of entertainers, a dunk tank, a family tent, food and other vendors and lots of gay pride and comradery. It will continue well into the night.
State Representative Jon Hoadley will keynote a Pride Brunch before today’s events begin at the Arcadia Festival Park.
The World’s Longest Breakfast Table will be the main event once again this year at Battle Creek’s Cereal Festival. There will also be activities for children, entertainment and other displays and exhibits this morning.
The Gilmore Car Museum will shift its focus entirely to motorcycles Sunday. The World Famous home of one of the most priceless car collections in the world will host the 21th annual Vintage Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet at the Museum in Hickory Corners.
It is considered one of the largest events of its kind in the Midwest.
Thousands of motorcycles, from rare and iconic rides of the past 100 years, to the newest models driven by spectators, will rumble into the Gilmore Car Museum campus.
The show also includes a large “Bike Corral” full of vintage motorcycles for sale, a huge cycle parts and memorabilia swap meet, and a special exhibit area that will showcase new motorcycles and offer demo rides.
