KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Police say a man is jailed after shooting another person in the arm during an argument at a home in the 1100 block of South Westnedge Avenue in Kalamazoo.
Investigators with Kalamazoo Public Safety say he fled the scene after opening fire at around 10:45 p.m. Thrusday.
Police dogs tracked the suspect to a home about a quarter-mile away in the 400 block of Den Adel Court.
He was taken into custody after a standoff with SWAT officers.
The 49-year-old victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance for treatment of his wound.
