RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A woman is awaiting arraignment on an open murder charge after a man was killed in Kalamazoo County’s Richland Township in what police call an apparent domestic dispute.
Michigan State Police troopers found a 50-year-old man dead inside a home on West Sturtevant Avenue near Lausen Lane around 9:15 p.m. Friday. Authorities have not yet identified the man.
The woman was arrested shortly afterward and is being held in Kalamazoo County Jail.
State Police say the case will be referred to the prosecutor’s office for review pending the results of an autopsy and toxicology testing.
