UPDATE – 12/19 at 8:42 a.m.: The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect is in custody. The victim is a 20-year-old from Kalamazoo, according to a press release.
The death is a homicide, according to investigators. The investigation is ongoing and witnesses are being interviewed.
COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Sheriff’s detectives say they’re investigating a suspicious death inside an apartment in Kalamazoo County’s Comstock Township.
Few details are being released, but investigators are saying the discovery was made at the Comstock Village Apartments in the 3500 block of Comstock Village Lane after 9 p.m. Sunday.
The person has not been identified. WOOD-TV reports the victim suffered a stab wound.
