KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — February 20th 2019 is the third anniversary of Kalamazoo’s Uber shooting, and later this week the tragedy will again get national attention.
ABC’s 20/20 is airing a special exploring the Jason Dalton case this Friday, calling it “The Deadly Ride.”
The six murders, the two survivors, the “Uber Demon,” the hunt, the arrest and the interrogations that followed will be compacted into two hours with commercials.
It will include interviews with family members of the six people Dalton killed along with the two survivors.
It will also offer interviews with survivors Abby Kopf and Tianna Carruthers and perhaps answer some of the questions that might have been addressed at trial had Dalton not entered guilty pleas instead.
He was sentenced to life in prison without parole earlier this month.
“The Deadly Ride” will air at 9 p.m. Friday on ABC’s 20/20.
