LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) – Open enrollment for health insurance through the Michigan Health Insurance Marketplace is now underway.
Department of Insurance and Financial Services director Anita Fox says there are “a significant” number of plans available to meet the needs of families in the state, and adds staff members are available to help.
Open enrollment began on November 1st and runs through December 15th. During open enrollment, consumers can buy health insurance through the marketplace, a licensed insurance agent, an assister, or directly from an insurer.
