UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) – Three cold air masses are set to move over Michigan in the next two weeks.
It won’t just be a mid-November type cold. It will be an early January type of cold.
The depth of the cold is in contrast to what temperatures are normally like for this time of year. The long-term average high temps for next week are around 45 degrees to 50 degrees.
By next weekend, the southern half of the Lower Peninsula may see highs only in the low/mid 30s, while Northern Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula won’t climb out of the 20s.
The good news is…this is the kind of cold snap that should kill off the remainder of whatever mosquitos are still around.
