LANSING, MI (WHTC) – State Attorney General Bill Schuette filed a civil lawsuit against Florida-based Division of Corporate Services, asking the courts to prevent that firm from operating any further in Michigan. DCS allegedly mailed a fraudulent, official-looking form to small businesses and non-profits, demanding full compliance with 125 dollars sent to a Lansing address to keep the victims’ operations in good standing. The Adopting a Waiting Child organization in Holland was among the victims of this scam.
