Comstock Fire Department quickly extinguish garage fire resulting in no injuries

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Comstock fire officials are reporting no injuries after a detached garage caught fire Saturday.

The Charter Township of Comstock Fire and Rescue responded to the fire just before 4 p.m. at 5452 Comstock Avenue.

Officials report finding the garage and a car parked outside on fire upon arrival.  Crews arrived on scene within four minutes and quickly extinguished the fire.

Comstock fire officials were assisted by the Kalamazoo Township Fired Department and fire itself remains under investigation.
