Sep 26 (Field Level Media) – The Indiana Fever will be without Tyasha Harris for the remainder of the season after the team announced Saturday that the backup guard suffered a season-ending broken left fibula in the regular-season finale.
Harris was injured in the third quarter of Thursday’s 86-66 loss to the Minnesota Lynx when she collapsed to the floor following a layup attempt. She had to be carried to the locker room.
Harris, 28, averaged 4.1 points and 2.0 assists in 39 regular-season games (four starts) and has appeared in 211 games (53 starts) through seven WNBA seasons. She entered the league as a first-round pick by the Dallas Wings in 2020 and played for Connecticut from 2023-24 before returning to Dallas last season.
Harris underwent season-ending knee injury on June 10, 2025, limiting her to only five games. She signed with Indiana in April.
In Harris’ absence, Raven Johnson is expected to see increased minutes off the bench behind All-Star guards Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell.
The news was better for Aliyah Boston, who also left the game with a leg injury. Fever coach Stephanie White said after the game that it was a “flare- up” of an injury to Boston’s right leg.
Indiana begins its best-of-three first-round series against the Aces in Las Vegas on Sunday.
