VOLINIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A woman’s body found in a Cass County farm field last month has been identified as a Niles, Michigan woman.
The body of 40-year-old Amber Star Laylin was located in the area of McKenzie Street and Churchill Street in Volinia Township August 13.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says Laylin was identified with the assistance of Western Michigan University Medical Examiner’s Office.
The case remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police.
