KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Safety officers and athletes from the Kzoo PAL Football Program worked to clean neighborhoods in the city Tuesday.
The cleanup work was done in the neighborhood that surrounds Versluis Park, where they practice and play.
Police Athletic League director Johnnie Berry said the experience is “about the bonding and building relationships,” noting some of the kids don’t know each other.
