PORTAGE, MI(WKZO AM/FM) – After closing Wednesday because of elevated E. coli levels, new water testing results for Ramona Park Beach have come back negative and the beach reopened at 12:00 p.m. Thursday.
The beach closed following the detection of high amounts of E. coli as determined through the Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services Department’s weekly water quality monitoring program.
