GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for all of west Michigan today.
A heat dome is cooking the entire Lower Peninsula, with high temperatures in the mid-90s today and tomorrow, and the heat index over 100-degrees.
The NWS says they expect a moderate to major risk of heat-related impacts for people today and tomorrow.
The Heat Advisory is in effect today from noon until 8 p.m.
