HOWARD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 28-year-old Niles man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday night in Cass County.
The sheriff’s office says he was Jessie Maurer.
Maurer was northbound on M-60 in Howard Township when a deer hit the side of his motorcycle, causing him to lose control, go off the road, and into a culvert.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
