KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Comstock, Galesburg Augusta and Vicksburg public schools have facilities maintenance and improvement bond issues on the ballot Tuesday.
Comstock is asking voters to approve a $23.7 million bond issue.
Galesburg-Augusta is asking voters to allow them to borrow $11.2 million for school improvements and Vicksburg has a $64 million bond request on their ballots.
Mattawan Schools is seeking routine approval of the 18-mill assessments on non-residential properties.
There are 187 local millage proposals on the ballot tomorrow asking for over $4.25-billion from voters across 67 counties.
Most of them, 125, are school requests of over $4-billion.
That makes up for 94% of what is being requested of voters.
65 school bonds for nearly $3.74-million are on the ballots, making up for 88% of the money.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
