BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It took a Calhoun County jury just 45 minutes of deliberation to return to the courtroom with a guilty verdict against a man for multiple sex crimes.
39-year-old William Google Jr. was convicted of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman in October 2020 and faces up to life in prison.
He was also charged as a violent habitual offender, which means the shortest sentence he will receive will be 25-years.
The victim did not testify after she was threatened by Google and other people on his behalf.
He will be sentenced June 1st.
