COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – South Haven Area Emergency Services says one firefighter is recovering after cutting their hand fighting a fire early Sunday morning at a mobile home.
The flames broke out just after 3 a.m. on 18th Avenue near 53rd Street in Columbia Township west of Breedsville.
The fire started on the front porch and spread to other parts of the mobile home.
One person was home and was able to safely escape.
The injured firefighter was treated at the scene and kept working.
No damage estimate has been made, and the fire remains under investigation.
