DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The weekly rise in the average gas price in Michigan has slowed down, rising 4¢ a gallon.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price is now $3.96 a gallon, 97¢ more than last month and up 82¢ from last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas costs $59 on average around the state.
Michigan’s highest price is in Benton Harbor at $4.08, and the lowest price is in Flint at $3.86.
In southwest Michigan, Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties have the lowest gas price at $3.95, followed by Allegan and St. Joseph counties at $4, Van Buren County at $4.06, Barry County at $4.07, Berrien County at $4.08, and Cass County at $4.11.
