UNION CITY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A cat named Doobie is continuing to recover after he was found buried in the ruble that used to be his family’s home in Union City on March 8th.
The home was destroyed by an EF-3 tornado on March 6th.
Bronson Veterinary Services owner Dr. Joanna Bronson says Doobie had several pelvic fractures, a broken right front humerus, a severely injured tail, and was in shock and dehydrated.
Scott Johnson owns the cat, but his wife, Keri, was killed in the tornado.
