PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A large crowd gathered in Portage yesterday at the intersection of South Westnedge Avenue and Milham Road to welcome fast food chain Raising Cane’s to southwest Michigan.
The location finally opened after being under construction since last June.
Some customers camped out in tents in front of the restaurant Monday night to be among the first in line.
Raising Cane’s opened their first restaurant in west Michigan last year near Grand Rapids.
