LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Lansing leaders will vote soon on where to place the city’s proposed ModPod community for the homeless.
Six locations have been considered and the Mayor’s Neighborhood Advisory Board and Human Relations and Community Services Board are recommending they be put at the Ingham County Human Service Building at Jolly and Cedar roads.
That location became the sixth and final option last month and the other five are public parks and a former school building.
The pods were purchased from Kalamazoo after officials were unable to decide where to put them.
