KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 30-year-old Kalamazoo resident is in the Kalamazoo County Jail for several weapons violations and possession with intent to distribute meth.
The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team and Crime Reduction Team executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of Foxridge Drive on January 15 after an investigation into illegal drug sales and weapon possession.
They found the suspect in the 4400 block of South Westnedge Avenue and arrested them with no incident.
Officers found a loaded firearm on the suspect along with distribution amounts of meth. They found more evidence of drug dealing and firearm accessories in a search of the home.
The Michigan Department of Corrections was also notified of the suspect’s arrest as they are on probation for a prior conviction of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
