MOUNT PLEASANT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Central Michigan University will offer graduates $2,000 if they don’t find a job or get admitted to graduate school within six months of commencement.
CMU launched the Central Career Guarantee yesterday and is the first public university in the state to make the financial promise.
Students will be required to complete a roadmap of steps throughout their college career and need to opt in to the program in their first semester at the school.
CMU officials say they have a 94% career outcomes rate, which includes both employment and continuing education.
