KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 36-year-old Kalamazoo man will serve the next 20-years in prison after he was found with 12-pounds of methamphetamine in the front passenger seat floorboard of a van he was driving.
Brandon Baines was driving the van from Detroit to Kalamazoo when he was stopped by the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team on January 23, 2025.
Baines was on probation after serving four-and-a-half years in prison for meth trafficking and a firearm offense.
Two other men who were in the van have also been sentenced, with Kerriem Stevenson Jr. sent to prison for over 15 years and Johnnie McAllister getting nearly three years in prison.
