LANSING, MI — Volunteers with the Lansing Old Newsboys are out across the Lansing area today selling copies of the Lansing Spoof Journal.
The charitable organization, whose sole purpose is to provide footwear to children in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton, is one of the oldest charities in the state, according to its website. Since 1924 the group has worked to ensure children have the proper footwear to attend school and to stay healthy. Over the past few years, the group has served over 7,000 children, each year, in Lansing and within our 25-mile radius service area.
You can swing by QD stores to buy your copy @ St Joe/Creyts, Dimondale, Jolly/Dunkel, Grand Ledge, W. Saginaw across from Menards, Holt, Mason, East Lansing, Haslett, Okemos, N. Larch, Lake Lansing.
You can read a virtual copy of the Spoof Journal by visiting: www.lansingoldnewsboys.org.
