LANSING, MI — The City of Lansing says it will activate its Code Blue winter weather emergency plan today. Code Blue allows local shelters to temporarily increase capacity and alter hours.
The Code Blue will remain in effect from Wednesday, Nov. 26, through Monday, Dec. 1, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each day.
In addition, the Capital Area Transportation Authority will provide free rides to warming shelters for those in need. If you need shelter, call 211. CATA will provide free rides to warming centers.
