BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Battle Creek man accused of killing Tyshaan Williams on May 25th, 2024 is now charged with open murder and felony firearm.
Bond for 22-year-old Jamareon Stein-Harris was denied yesterday and he remains in the Calhoun County Jail.
The county magistrate says Stein-Harris has a history of failing to appear for hearings and had to be extradited from Ohio and that is why bond was denied.
He is facing life in prison without parole if convicted of first-degree murder.
