LANSING, MI — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close multiple ramps and lanes of US-127 to switch traffic back to its normal configuration during the next stage of the US-127 rebuilding project on Thursday (Nov. 20). The project of resuming traffic flows on the southbound lanes will take several days, according to MDOT.
This work is part of the $205 million investment to rebuild US-127/I-496 from I-96 to I-496 to address safety concerns, improve roadway geometrics and improve vehicular movement.
