ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Southbound US-131 between 100th Street and 146th Avenue might remain closed through Sunday afternoon according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
The highway has been closed since Monday when a semi hit the 142nd Avenue overpass in Allegan County’s Dorr Township and damaged the bridge.
MDOT’s John Richard says they need to replace a beam that was damaged.
Traffic is being detoured at 100th Street SW to South Division Avenue and down to 146th Avenue to get back on to US-131.
