Annual Armed Forces Appreciation Luncheon in Battle Creek postponed due to federal government shutdown

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Battle Creek Chamber of Commerce event is a casualty of the continuing federal government shutdown.

The chamber says they unfortunately had to make the decision to postpone the 69th Annual Armed Forces Appreciation Luncheon scheduled for this Thursday, November 6. Due to guidelines for members of the Armed Forces during the shutdown, they have postponed the event to a date in early 2026.

All tickets and sponsorships will be honored at the future event.
