10-year-old critically hurt in eastbound I-94 crash at Sprinkle Road; traffic detoured at Portage Road

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 10-year-old girl is hospitalized in critical condition after a multi-vehicle crash on eastbound I-94 near the Sprinkle Road exit around 8 a.m. Monday.

The crash involved five vehicles, including a semi truck.

Two other people are hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to recover.

As of 10:30 a.m. Monday, eastbound I-94 remained closed at Portage Road, with traffic being detoured to Sprinkle Road.
