OTSEGO COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 36-year-old woman from California who was taking part in a YouTube outdoor survival contest in northern Michigan was found safe after being missing for nearly 18 hours in Otsego County.
The sheriff’s office and Michigan State Police found her in a swampy area around 10:40 a.m. Saturday. She was able to walk out under her own power despite the cold weather and rain, and was found to not have any serious injuries.
Her name has not been released.
