KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One teen was injured Friday night after multiple shots were fired on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
Just after 9:00 p.m. Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) officers patrolling near Mabel Street heard multiple gunshots. Minutes later, they were notified of a gunshot victim in the 600 block of Mabel Street.
Officers arrived and located a 15-year-old male with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he is listed in
critical but stable condition.
At this time, suspect information is limited and KDPS is urging community members to come forward with any details that may help investigators.
