KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – State Representative Julie Rogers of Kalamazoo is seeking to move to the state Senate.
Rogers announced yesterday she will seek the 19th District Senate seat currently held by Democrat Sean McCann of Kalamazoo, who is running for Congress.
She is the ranking member of the House Appropriation Subcommittees on Medicaid and Behavioral Health and Veteran and Military Affairs.
Rogers was the chair of the Health Policy Committee last term when Democrats had the House majority.
