LANSING, MI — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close the westbound I-96 Exit 101 to M-99 in Ingham County for ramp resurfacing beginning Monday, according to a press release.
The detour means Westbound I-96 traffic will instead continue on to Lansing Road Exit 98A then take the entrance ramp to eastbound I-96 to route back to M-99. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to seek alternate routes, according to MDOT.
M-99 is undergoing major renovations this summer and is under construction from I-96 south to Holt Road. Currently, the northbound lanes are closed with traffic being routed onto the southbound lanes.
