BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office has discontinued local search operations for a missing teen, following a confirmed sighting of him on a train headed to Chicago.
15-year-old Glenn Lee Brown was reported missing May 7, after leaving Pennfield High School. Deputies conducted an extensive search using K9 teams, thermal imaging drones, aerial support from the Michigan State Police, and assistance from surrounding law enforcement agencies and volunteer search and rescue organizations.
The Sheriff’s Office says a confirmed report has identified Brown, unaccompanied, on a train enroute to Chicago. A witness saw him arrive in Chicago. They say all relevant information has been shared with authorities in that area, and the investigation will continue in cooperation with law enforcement in Illinois.
