LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan House Speaker Matt Hall is crediting Governor Gretchen Whitmer making an appearance at the White House with helping Selfridge Air National Guard Base get new fighter jets.
Hall says the Democratic governor has embraced Republican President Trump this term, and says “she’s doing a lot of really great things to help us.”
Whitmer has said since Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in November that she would work to find common ground wherever she could with the new President.
