GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer visited the Hope Village affordable housing project in Grand Rapids yesterday.
Mel Trotter Ministries is building the tiny homes at Hope Village and Whitmer has announced the state is investing $2 billion to build or rehab 11,000 homes.
The tiny home project is scheduled to be complete by the end of this year.
The 16 homes are being built for low-income residents.
