TEXAS TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A crash between a semi and a sedan on I-94 just after 5 a.m. Monday is Texas Township is under investigation by the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to westbound I-94 near the 69-mile marker for the crash and found the sedan with heavy damage in the road and the semi down in the ditch.
The semi driver was not hurt, but the sedan driver was and he was taken to a local hospital to be treated.
Deputies say the sedan appeared to have been parked along the side of the highway, but partially in the driving lane and the semi driver could not stop in time once he noticed the car.
No names have been released.
