KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Strong thunderstorms that roared through southwest Michigan late Sunday afternoon knocked out power to thousands in the region.
As of 7:30 p.m. Sunday there were 7,867 Consumers Energy customers in Kalamazoo County without power, with over 7,400 out in Allegan and 10,000 in Calhoun County.
No potential restoration times have been announced.
